We frequently work with software companies in the business applications space. These solutions are often purchased from one or more Line of Business leaders, such as Finance, Marketing, Sales, HR, Operations, Legal, and the like. Want more detail? Almost all of our clients can be found here. Most of our customers have between 50 and 1,000 employees, and most are privately held.
We know cost is top of mind when it comes to your business. We prefer to work under a contingent model, which means you’ll only pay us if you choose to hire one of the candidates we present to you. We also do not have a universal percentage. Our exact fees are based upon our determination of how challenging each search will be, as well as our projection of the time it will take to complete the search. These fees can range from 20% to 25% of the base salary of the employee.
Interested in retained searches? We’re proud to say we successfully engage in those at a high level, as well. In those cases, the client pays around 25% of the expected fee upfront as a non-refundable retainer. Typically, our clients request a retained search for their hard-to-fill or high-level openings. And retained searches do receive priority over contingent searches.
RevsUp only works on permanent placement engagements.

Half of our projects are successfully completed within three weeks; about 75% are completed within four weeks; and the remainder are completed within six weeks. There are two factors that determine this timeline: the complexity of the search, and each client’s level of commitment to the agreed-upon interview process.
